The Forgotten Siblings of Famous Celebrities

Stars and their Siblings. Some of them make you proud whilst others can lead to public humiliation. While some siblings have helped make the stars, others have made a career out of their celebrity siblings. Here are some famous and some not so famous Celebrity Siblings.

Salman Khan – Arbaaz Khan- Sohail Khan

Do we even need to write  the success story of Bollywood’s Bhai with a swag! But brothers Arbaaz and Sohail failed to make a mark in the industry as Heroes. Though, Arbaaz  won a Filmfare award for best performance in a negative role for his debut film Daraar, but his journey was not a successful one. However, he is now a successful producer with Dabangg series starring brother Salman Khan. Sohail,  tried his best to make a place in films, but landed nowhere and now is trying his hands on direction and production. 

Kajol – Tanisha Mukerji

Kajol has proved to be an excellent actress of Hindi cinema. She is a quintessential Bollywood heroine and has many hits to her kitty. The actress will be next seen opposite her favorite co-star Shah Rukh Khan in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, which will hit the screens this December. Kajol’s younger sister, Tanisha, could hardly manage to get herself any films after her solo debut film Neal ‘n’ Nikki. Tanisha failed to fit into Bollywood, but she managed to grab eyeballs with her Big Boss  act.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra  -Shamita Shetty

Shilpa Shetty, the dusky beauty made the audience go crazy over her ‘Thumkaas’ and decent acting. She made our country proud by winning an international television reality show ‘Big Brother’. And further went on to become a business woman as well and she has been doing well. Shamita put in good efforts to make it big in the industry like her elder sister, but she was a part of very few films, despite winning IIFA award for star debut of the year in 2000 for Mohabbatein, Shamita could not make it big in the industry. The actress like her elder sister took part in an Indian version of ‘Big Brother’ ‘Big Boss’ season 3 and is currently a part of  dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

Saif Ali Khan –  Soha Ali Khan

Though late, Saif got his due in Bollywood industry, and since then has managed to maintain his position and has come out strong after a debacle. The actor must not be on the top list like the khans but surely stands in the list of successful actor today. In her eleven years of career, Soha did many films but failed to achieve any great success in the industry.

Ekta Kapoor – Tushar Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor is known as the queen of television, name a channel, and she has her serials on it. And now as we all know that she is also into film production, and must say is achieving success with each passing day, with each passing project. Tushar, despite having “Kapoor” the famous surname ever in the industry, failed miserably in his acting stint. The actor had won Filmfare best male debut award (now, that make us think, how genuine awards are!) but further his journey was all descending. Oops! the surname works only if the actor does!  but, this Kapoor lad is lucky to have  a sister like Ekta who has some roles for his dear brother.

Aamir Khan –  Faisal Khan

Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Khan, Aamir,  did not have a smooth ride in his journey of cinema, but the actor rose above all odds and made a mark for himself. With making and breaking of numerous box office records, Aamir today is known as the king of the “100 crore club”. But, the younger brother of this highly successful actor failed to make a name for himself in the industry and hence, decided to take a step back. However, news has it that the actor will be returning as a lead actor in a Kashmir based film Chinar: Daastaan -E- Ishq.

Anil Kapoor  – Sanjay Kapoor

The evergreen Kapoor, Anil is an actor virtuoso. The actor who began from a very small level, made it huge in Bollywood, and went on to become country’s one of the favorite stars. And now also known internationally with his film Slumdog Millionaire and television series 24. whereas, Sanjay tried his hard to get his foothold in the Bollywood industry as an actor but, did not succeed. However, he is now trying his best as a producer.
